More Than Just a Production Company
One Tree Forest is a peabody award winning, branded content studio with the sensibility of an agency. We make smart content ABOUT people and brands who like to think different, have something to say and want to say it in a more meaningful, heartfelt and thought provoking way.
From ideation and design to script development and storyboarding, we not only produce beautiful stories, we create them.
Our nimble crews go above and beyond the shot list to capture the most compelling images, planned and unplanned.
We believe the real magic happens in the edit bay where our post production team brings our stories to life.
VFX & Animation
Our motion graphics team uses a variety of 2D and 3D techniques; blending high-end design with simplistic storytelling.
RAVEN SAUNDERS AND TRAYVON BROMELL
As a part of the Gatorade Player of the Year program, One Tree Forest was asked to create a video to celebrate two past Player of the Year winners, highlighting their comeback stories before heading to the Tokyo Olympics. Our creative and production team focused on brining to life these athletes determined spirit through a gritty, handheld, real life approach to interviews and B-roll.
WOMEN IN SPORTS ‘FACE’ HARASSMENT
Watch REAL guys read REAL comments made about sports reporters Sarah Spain and Julie DiCaro – to their face. These fans learn some tweets are #MoreThanMean – they’re harassment. Share this w/ hashtag #MoreThanMean to increase awareness about harassment of women in sports.
This video, while we knew it might be something powerful, went far beyond what we would have ever hoped. The day we launched the video, we were actually working on set for another gig, and only being able to check our phones every couple hours, the number of views jumped from hundreds to thousands to hundreds of thousands in a matter of hours. It caught fire immediately. And simply because the conversation needed to happen. We like to say that all we did was light a match – the fuel was there – and boy did it take fire. Winner of multiple awards including a 2016 Peabody Award.
AT THE INTERSECTION OF ANALOG & DIGITAL
REIMAGINING CLASSIC AUDIO EQUIPMENT
Meet an audio engineer who is using today’s digital technology to redesign and improve upon the classic analog designs of yesteryear. See inside his process and learn why he believes that even in today’s high-tech world, a technology that was once dormant for several decades, should still be considered relevant. In a world where the new constantly reinvents the old, surely there must be something lost in the translation. Or perhaps that is simply nostalgia taking hold. After all, there are numerous examples of software emulating the problems that old analog systems had. So perhaps a marriage of the two is inevitable – at least, while there are still those around that appreciate the classics.
